It has been a tiring day, as anyone involved in the X-Country would tell you. Here's my own account...
7am: Reach CCHMS and try to do something with E Maths hw but decide can't be bothered.
1.15pm: Released from the hell they call school and Theo,Simin, Celeste, and their friend and me walked out to the bus stop.
1.30pm: Catch bus 16.
1.40pm: Alight from bus 16.Start walking to EC Park.
1.50pm: Reach the McDonalds at ECP.
2.30pm: Finish meal.
2.50pm: Rent bikes. Told Theodora to stop ogling half-naked men and eyeing Caucasian men since she already has Mustafa Ababa.
2.55pm: All four of us try to teach Theo to ride a bike which she wasn't able to do, even after living for fifteen years.
3.15pm: Mission completed, thanks to me. Haha, some of it, i mean. Theo K must be one of the quickest to learn to ride a bike, and not fall off it in her first attempts. Thanks to these good people she calls friends.(: But then let us take into account that she is fifteen and capable of thinking logically,whereas when we started learning riding a bike, we were less than nine years of age and were fall-prone.
3.30pm: Return bikes. Go back to Mac to use the damentoilette.
3.40pm: Start walking back to assembly point.
3.55pm: Knew that it was all fruitless and the rest of the sec 3 girls were probably running soon. So we got Simin to pretend she was injured after a bike-crash thingalinga with another unknown person. Theo and I left her to struggle alone behind and walked fast.
4.30pm: Reached assembly point minutes after we spotted the sec three boys running. Met Zhan Rui and Christina who looked at us in amazement. And we were told we were too late to run our round. We went up to Ms Cui, whol told us to look for other teachers.
4.31: Went up to the other teachers.
4.32: Told our tale of the bike-crashing incident and we were told to go find Mr S. Dooooom.
4.33pm: Dooooooom. Made ourselves nerdier than before.
4.44pm: We went up to Mr S looking meek and nerdy.
4.45pm: He was nice about it, but told us to go find Mr Chua.
4.46pm: Went up to Mr Chua and he told us to just go assemble with the others. I knew for sure that they all didnt want to deal with us just then. We were probably,to them, like the dragonflies to Theo K.
5.30pm: Dum de dum dum. Prize-giving is NOT interesting. I mean,like, do we look like we friggin' care? NO. WE DO NOT.
6.20pm: Free! As said before, the best things in the world are free.
6.30pm: Fetched.Woohoo.
